After the trucks leave
The slab does its best work while nothing happens
Concrete does not dry, it cures, gaining strength for weeks after the pour looks finished. We cut the joints while the slab is young, then leave you the timings in writing so nothing rolls onto it early.

We stand on the block
Levels, access, ground and finish samples, all checked on site. Any Cardinia road reserve permit gets flagged there and then. The written quote follows.
Pour day
Break-out where needed, base built and compacted, mesh up on chairs, then the trucks. Most house jobs are formed one day and poured the next.
Cure and hand over
Joints cut while the slab is young, timings for walking and driving left with you in writing, and sealer scheduled where the finish takes one.

Do I need a permit from Cardinia Shire?
Inside your boundary, no. The crossover between your boundary and the road sits on council land, and the shire requires a Works Within a Road Reserve permit before it is built, changed or repaired, carried out by a contractor holding twenty million dollars in public liability insurance. We hold that cover, flag whether your job touches the road reserve at the measure, and put the permit path in the quote.
Do you only do the new estates?
No. Estate work in Pakenham, Officer and the southern land releases fills a lot of the calendar, but the same crew pours shed slabs on acreage out through Nar Nar Goon, Tynong and Garfield, driveways up the hill at Beaconsfield Upper, and replacements in the older streets of Berwick and the townships.
